Our vision is to be a leading reference in research on the role of lactic acid bacteria and probiotics in human health and food quality. We aim to lead the understanding of the interactions between diet and the microbiome, as well as their impact on child development and health. We aspire to be nationally and internationally recognized for our scientific excellence, contributing to the advancement of knowledge in key areas for the Valencian, Spanish, European, and global communities—such as antibiotic resistance and its impact on the microbiota, and consequently, on human health.
