Maternal microbiota and Child Development.

Objectives:

To investigate the composition and dynamics of the maternal gut microbiota and its impact on the child’s health and development during the early years of life.

Impact:

To understand the interactions between maternal diet, gut microbiota, and child health in order to develop preventive and therapeutic strategies aimed at improving child health and contributing to the prevention of chronic diseases.
