INTERNATIONAL PROJECTS

European Funding

In this regard, our group has made a concerted effort in recent years, participating in several international projects (COST Actions: BIRTH – Ref. IS1405 & PiGutNet – Ref. FA1401) and various EU projects (Horizon Europe, JPI-HDHL, EIT Food, PRIMA-see IP CV), demonstrating the international interconnectedness and potential impact of our research on a global scale. We would like to highlight the ERC Starting Grant Horizon 2020, “The Power of Maternal Microbes in Child Health (MAMI)” (2015-2020), which serves as the foundation for our MAMI+ proposal. Through these projects, we have built a solid network where training, collaborations, and other exchanges are available to team members. Dr. Collado participates in international working groups (ILSI, ISAPP, ISRHML) and in the organization of recognized international conferences (FASEB, Keystone, IHMC), and is part of the Microbiome-Virtual Forum, which will offer monthly international online conferences for free. This environment promotes the global scientific network.
